Every month, the Honor Flight Network flies veterans, members of our "greatest generation," free of charge to Washington to visit the National World War II Memorial erected to honor of their service and sacrifice. There are currently 6,000 veterans on the waiting list and thousands more apply each week. Sadly, some 1,200 World War II veterans die every day in America, many while waiting their turn to visit the memorial erected in their honor.

We urge all Dayton and Miami Valley residents to give whatever money you can to help Honor Flight brighten the lives of our aging heroes by sending them by plane from the birthplace of aviation to see their memorial.

Here's your chance to help Honor Flight send our aging heroes to the nation's capital to see their memorial free of charge. Grismer Auto Service Centers and Win Wholesale are matching funds for the next Honor Flight that leaves Dayton International September 10th with 140 vets on board. Grismer and Win Wholesale are also making it possible for you to make a donation in the name of a veteran from your family, or in honor of another relative or friend. If the community raises $20,000, Grismer Auto Service Centers and Win Wholesale Corporation will match with $10,000 each. You can go to any Dayton area Key Bank to make a donation or go online to honorflight.org. Pick up a pledge card and mail in your donation from participating Grismer Auto Service Centers and at Win Wholesale counters.

Go to any participating Key Bank location and make a cash or credit card donation to National Honor Flight or click here.
